How do l get invited for these types of Visas?
1
Step one
Check Your Points & Occupation: For skilled visas like subclass 189, 190, or 491, you must score at least 65 points on the points test and have an occupation listed on Australia’s skilled occupation list and have a current skill assessment on that occupation. Points are awarded based on factors such as age, English language ability, skilled work experience, education, and other criteria.
2
Step two
Issue Expression of Interest (EOI): After confirming your eligibility and points with your case, the next step is to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the state or territory where you wish to live. Each state and territory has its own eligibility requirements and skilled occupation lists, so meeting the criteria may vary depending on the region.
3
Step three
Visa Application: After receiving an invitation through your Expression of Interest (EOI), you can formally apply for the Skilled Migrant Visa. You complete the application form, provide all required documents such as identity proof, qualifications, and work experience, and pay the visa fee. You can also include eligible family members, such as a spouse or dependent children, in your application. Your application will then be assessed by the Department, and you may be asked to provide additional information or attend health and character checks before a decision is made.
